fluv. Albionis cum oppido cognomine in Australi ora contra Vectim insulam decurrens. Ptolem. oppid. vulgo Southampton dicitur in agro Hantoniensi. Baudrando Trisanton portus, seu Trisantonis fluvii ostium, est Hampton Water, portus am plissimus, qui aliter le port de Southampton cicitur, ab oppido adiacente, alias Clausentum dicto, in intimo eius recessu, ad ostia fluvii Test. 10. milliar. Angl. a Vintonia in Maridiem; estque in Hantonia provincia in ora maris Britannici.
